Exploring how social media affects young people, I painted this series as a commentary on endangered childhood literacy trends. More children know how to use Instagram or X (formerly known as Twitter) than they do about infamous childhood stories and characters.

The paintings serve as a thoughtful juxtaposition between characters in the digital world and those in revered books and learning programs.
